Swamiji has lived his life as a bar mitzvah boy and initiated monk, husband and father, student and PhD psychologist, management consultant and consulting firm partner, executive coach and spiritual guide, non-profit executive and board chair, teacher, lecturer and healing practitioner. He has much to share, and his books and recordings reflect what he has lived so far and who he is in this moment. Their contents are a testament to the constant love, service and teachings of an enlightened master and Divine Mother who has graced his life for over twenty years.
Swami Parameshwarananda (Swamiji) is a transformational teacher, coach and author. He travels worldwide, holding spiritual gatherings and workshops in English and French. He has published a book describing stories and lessons from seventeen years with his Guru, Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi (In the Path of Light with Maa: A Journey of Love and Transformation), as well as a workbook that describes a process for transforming ourselves (Inside Tips: A Transformation Workbook). Both of these books have been combined into a French version. An updated version of In the Path of Light with Maa has also been published in Japanese in 2017.
In addition, Swamiji has published a series of three booklets in English and French (The Healing Power of Action, The Healing Power of Meditation, and Less Stress, More Success), and has written numerous articles about spirituality and personal and social transformation. Swamiji is now the Spiritual Director of the Order of Sai Maa Brahmacharya, the monastic lineage of Maa, as well as Executive Director of the Light Legacy Institute whose mission is the awakening of mastery in humanity through a comprehensive approach to transformation. Over several years, Swamiji served as Executive Director and Board member of Humanity In Unity (HIU), a non-profit educational and humanitarian organization dedicated to global enlightenment and founded by Sai Maa. Swamiji served for seven years as Resident Spiritual Master of the Temple of Consciousness, Sai Maa’s ashram in Crestone, Colorado.
Before moving in 2004 to the Crestone ashram, Swamiji spent a year in India, where he focused on his spiritual practice and was initiated as Brahmachari (monk). Before this, he lived for six years in the San Francisco Bay Area where he was local lead of the Sai Maa Center and worked as an Organization Consultant. His 25-year consulting career included executive and employee coaching, organization, leadership and team development, and leading an industry practice of consulting to Japanese and foreign-owned organizations. Swamiji was a Partner with a major management consulting firm in New York, and then led his own independent consulting practice, which included working with UNICEF on global reform for several years. He received his Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology and M.S. in Psychology from New York University. He was a licensed Psychologist in New York, and designated as Master Coach by a major international professional coaching association.
